Back in February when my wife's phone died and she decided to get the iPhone 4 I had a feeling that I should just go ahead and upgrade too. However, me being the tech savvy individual I am knew that Apple would release the iPhone 5 in June. I could be okay with waiting a few more months to get the newest and best piece of space-aged technology that the boys from Cupertino were going to come out with. It is mid August and there is still no iPhone 5. It seems like every day there is a new rumor about when it is going to come out and what it is going to contain. Some say there will be no iPhone 5 this year, but a minor upgrade called a 4s. If I've waited this long for a 4s I am going to be ticked. This past week there were rumors that ranged from a fully redesigned iPhone coming out September 7th to a very minor upgrade coming out mid October.
Usually I wouldn't care nearly this much about a phone announcement... even if I were planning on buying said phone. However, over the past several weeks my phone has got even worse. It randomly restarts at least twice a day. Sometimes it just shuts itself off. If I forget to charge the battery at night I am done for. There is no way it is lasting until noon. I am hating the littler bugger more every day. I've had to travel for work more often, and will continue to do so, and it sucks not having a reliable phone.
Come on Apple. It is my birthday month. Please just announce the stupid iPhone 4.75gtx or whatever it is going to be called. I'm pretty much going to buy it no matter what.
